In a move that will bring in special teams versatility and some added pass rushing prowess, the Raiders have claimed former Saints LB Martez Wilson off waivers. To make room, the Raiders have let go of 2012 6th Round pick Christo Bilukidi. While indeed possessing one of the best names in football, the additions of Pat Sims and Vance Walker, made the project from Georgia State the odd man out. Bilukidi has also been injured lately, and should he clear waivers, could land on Oakland's practice squad for the remainder of the season.
Possessing a well above average athletic matrix coming out of college at Illinois, Wilson was young coming into the League. He has played in 33 games for the Saints coming into Oakland, but only notched one start. Jason Tarver likely has some serious plans for the young, explosive linebacker going forward.
